Genie telescopic S-booms have working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters and a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters. Compared with different other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a much greater range of horizontal reach. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access confined areas during construction and industrial jobs. They are also recognized for their ability to maneuver through a job site rapidly and with great drive speed and traction. The platform hydraulically turns 160° and is able to stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for operators and tools. Continuous, 360° rotating turntables offer quick, easy positioning for operators.
The Z-135/70 unit comes equipped with a Jib-Extend, that is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This specific model can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach tasks which were inaccessible by standard jibs before. The Z-80/60 model's secondary reverse-articulating boom gives the user 8.83 meters of over and up reach. This feature enables up and over reaching tasks to be done with zero front arm swing.
The Fast Mast System built by Genie allows for time to be saved when both secondary and primary booms platform has to either be lowered or lifted without needing to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be fully raised simultaneously. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features reduces the time needed for users to ascend and descend, increasing effectiveness and production.
