Powertrain
Lift trucks should be tough enough to last for hours of operation in many extreme environments. While being ergonomic for operators, these equipment need to be able to move loads efficiently and fast. The dependable, rugged Yale powertrain offers superior durability through its computer managed transmission and engine, extremely strong shafts and gears and state of the art clutch pack. The transmission, engine, drive axle and steer axle are all isolated in order to lessen vibration and noise inside the operator's compartment.
Electrical
The electrical system of a lift truck is responsible for connecting the major nerve centers of the truck together. Hence, the electrical system in the lift truck has to be durable and reliable for the most demanding dry/wet and hot/cold operations. There is much sophistication needed in order to control truck functionality.
Delivering dependable electronics are a well-known hallmark of all Yale trucks. The Yale CANbus electrical system utilizes digital technology and lessens wiring and reduces electrical connections as well. This results in remarkable serviceability and improved dependability.
Hydraulics
The hydraulics are the "muscles" of the forklift. They give the necessary force needed to lift heavy loads during the entirety of a long shift. All Yale trucks feature industrial grade hydraulic parts. Several of these parts include: leak resistant O-ring face seal fittings, heavy-duty hydraulic valves, fine micron filters and long lasting tilt and hoist cylinders. The control valve has been strategically placed to be able to prolong component life by minimizing exposure to heat sources.
Yale's diesel forklifts provide extreme reliability and are recognized for withstanding harsh working situations and coming out on top. These machinery have been constructed in such a precise manner that attention to detail has been considered so as to keep the operator as comfortable as they could be.
