Lull Telehandlers
Ever since 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their machinery have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system offers much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide various optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you complete all your requirements, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. When precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
Many attachments have been designed and made in order to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible. Winches, booms and rotating fork carriages enable the forklift to place materials in a more accurate manner. The articulating booms or booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to position loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being engineered and made all the time and would be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory will compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
