Utilize a Pneumatic Forklift
You could normally find pneumatic forklifts in shipping and warehouse operations. Also called pallet trucks or pump trucks, they are utilized in order to move materials and products around on wooden pallets using metal forks mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight includes a pump which can lift the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is designed to be operated by a single individual.
Pallet trucks should be operated with care in order to avoid loss of control while raising heavy loads. Machine must be inspected before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstructions. Check that the handle turns smoothly. The pallet must be carefully stacked to be able to ensure that nothing would fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level located on the inside of the metal loop to release the air in the pump and lower the forks. The forks could then be pushed into the pallet slots. The forks must be in the middle in order to ensure even distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has cleared the ground completely. Do not lift the pallet very high or the forklift can unbalance.
Move the pallet by pulling on the handle and then dragging it behind you. It is dangerous to push the pallet ahead of you because the thrust can cause it to go out of control. Take turns slowly and don't attempt to stop suddenly. Gradually come to a stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
