Engineered for Safety
Yale is renowned for offering safe lift trucks that are adaptable and flexible for many different applications and tasks. The ability to engineer and manufacture units for enhanced safety comes from the new technology that is available in the company's experience and the material handling business.
In their latest designs, Yale has started incorporating newly available technologies. Some of the new technologies that are on the market are initially applied to forklift trucks and then later proven further through durability testing and functionality. The company conducts numerous controlled field tests and reliability development in order to ensure their products are very safe.
Some of Yale's innovative designs and technology which has been integrated as standard features for their fleet so as to enhance overall safety include the following:
Operator Compartment Controls and Ergonomics
The ergonomics in the operator compartment as well as the controls are made with state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to guarantee that the operator avoids heavy repetitive motions and fatigue. These added comforts help to increase overall production.
Adjustable Operators Controls and Compartment
Adjustable operator controls enable the operators to choose the positioning of their necessary controls. This helps make the equipment user friendly, regardless of who is operating it. Prior to beginning their shift, the operator can make certain she or he is as comfortable as possible.
Operator Presence System
Yale's hydraulic system operation called the Operator Presence System prevents the operation of the machinery if the operator is not in the correct operating position. This presence system also disables directional travel on trucks that have IC engines.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The drop-down design brings the LPG tank out from the protected center of the truck and down to the natural handling position of the operator making the tank easier to change.
