JLG Telehandlers Arkansas
After spending many years working together with his brother to build their crane construction corporation into a leader of the industry, John L. Grove chose to stop working. John as well as his wife Cora celebrated their retirement by going on a cross-country trip using their recreational vehicle. After that particular trip, JLG Industries, Inc. emerged and became the world's top manufacturer of specialized material handling machinery and mobile aerial work platforms.
In the R.V. journey, John spent a lot of the time talking to prior business associates who the Groves stopped to visit along their journey. When they were visiting the Hoover Dam, tragically, 2 employees were accidentally electrocuted on scaffolding. Through following conversations, John saw a huge untapped market for a type of machinery that can safely and quickly lift people into the air to be able to perform construction and maintenance functions.
After John and his wife returned from the trip, John decided to take action. He and two close friends started a partnership and after that purchased a small metal fabrication business in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. During the year 1970, with an original crew of 20 staff, the trio built and sold the first JLG aerial work platform. Numerous components of the basic design elements of that first machine are still being integrated into the existing product
The company has come a really long way ever since John L. Grove drove back into town from his cross-country journey and have grown dramatically since they debuted their very first aerial work platform. Even nowadays, JLG continues to expand into additional global markets. Numerous innovative products are designed to help clients be more effective and work safer.
JLG has remained dedicated to being the leader in the business. The company takes operator comfort into account really seriously. They attempt to deliver in safety and overall comfort, as well as in performance so that the driver could be as effective as possible.
